Meet Madison

Madison has been working with animals for over 14 years and has been part of The Dog House team for the past year and a half. Before entering the grooming industry, she spent much of her time working with and training horses, giving her a strong foundation in animal handling, patience, and understanding different temperaments.

She developed her grooming skills through hands-on training, independent study, and online education and has been grooming professionally for seven months. Madison especially enjoys working with senior dogs and dogs who may need a little extra patience and reassurance during their appointments. She takes pride in creating a calm, comfortable experience and working at a pace that meets the individual needs of each dog.

Madison particularly loves grooming doodles and creating soft, balanced teddy-bear styles. She also enjoys practicing traditional breed trims on her Standard Poodle and continuing to expand her skills in breed-specific grooming, technique, and finishing work.

Friendly and professional, Madison is also very attentive to the details her clients request. She takes the time to listen to each pet parent’s preferences and works carefully to achieve the look they have in mind while keeping their dog’s comfort and individual needs a priority.

Her love for animals extends well beyond the salon. At home, Madison has a Standard Poodle, a French Bulldog, three horses, a cat, a parrot, a lizard, and chickens. Her lifelong experience with such a wide variety of animals is reflected in the patience and understanding she brings to her work each day.
